#Hermitcraft, one of the best SMPs in Minecraft history (no argument required LOL) launched its 9th Season on 5 March 2022. Season 9 lasted for 1 year and 9 months (almost 2 years!) and ended in December 2023.

When is Hermitcraft Season 10 starting???
The Hermits keep the exact date a secret, which is no surprise! But how do we know Season 10 is starting soon?
That's because I stalked... I mean, saw... One of the Hermits' tweets:

The next clue is when the latest Hermitcraft banner design is revealed:

Yes, we have two new additions to Season 10!
On a sombre note:
A moment of silence and appreciation for still including TFC in the Hermitcraft banner. Known online as Tinfoilchef, he was the oldest Hermit and sadly passed away in August 2022. He is the true hermit and will forever be a Hermit in Hermitcraft history. Rest in peace, TFC.
Who are the new members to join Hermitcraft Season 10?
I honestly have no idea! After *doom scrolling* Twitter, the fans' favourites are SmallishBeans and Skizzleman.
SmallishBeans, or Joel, is a member of the Empires SMP. Known for exceptional building skills and (allegedly) big tall handsome bodybuilt, Joel is also an IRL close friend of fellow British Minecrafter, Grian.
Skizzleman is a very close friend of three of the Hermits, better known as the "S" of the notorious ZITS group (the initials of Zedaph, Impulse, Tango and Skizzleman). He frequently streams other video games with the rest of the Hermits, with the most recent series being Phasmophobia with Grian, Scar and GeminiTay.
Anything in common between SmallishBeans and Skizzleman? Yes! They were in the chaotic Life SMP series since its inception in 2021!
Other rumoured participants include FWhip and MythicalSausage, who are also from the Empires SMP.
Personally, I wished it'd be SolidarityGaming, or Jimmy. His involvement in Empires SMP is remarkable: he has a solid storyline/theme for each season, is very active in server-wide events and has improved significantly in building.
Long story short, anyone from the Empires SMP is a safe bet. We witnessed the biggest crossover in Minecraft history in 2022; no doubt these YouTubers have built some rapport since then.

How does one join the Hermitcraft server?

There is no definite answer or pre-requisite to this query. However, one thing is for certain:

Here are the three aspects when considering new Hermit(s):
1. Producing Minecraft content consistently.
Hermitcraft is all about Minecraft. The Hermits have contributed plenty, from the micro of game content up to the macros of the game development's direction.
Needless to say, the new member would be expected to show the same level of commitment.
"I see what you mean. Playing in a SMP is a good example to also demonstrate one's passion for creating quality content."
2. How is this new member compatible with the Hermits and the community?
Do they share the same gameplay direction and style? Do their values align?Â
"What about the newcomer's fans?
I have not read anything about this, though it's only logical to also consider this aspect.
Will the new group of audiences speak the same language as the Hermitcraft community?
"After all, majority of the Hermitfans are rather mature."
Exactly! No one wants to work with someone they know less about. Hermitcraft has amassed quite a crowd, so imagine the chaos when conflict arises.

Serious note aside, it's much more fun to play with friends than with unknown people. Expect the new addition to be a friend of the Hermit(s)!

3. 100% yes votes
As mentioned earlier, the admittance to this server is strictly invite-only. A Minecraft YouTuber will only be invited if they receive 100% YES votes from the Hermits.
"Wait... 100%? That means... all 26 Hermits must agree to have this particular Minecrafter to join the server???"
