I just launched a new series in Rhythmic.Palette! Introducing...
Rhythmic gymnastics memes!
Yup, memes. Since I'm creating memes out of my usual palette posts, I thus named this series #rhythmiclols. Below are the posts of the series:
*Yes, I love Minecraft so much that I have to just fit it somewhere. In my defence, doesn't the gymnast remind you of Minecraft zombies?*
If you're into Minecraft like I do (yay!!) then check out my Minecraft blog as well!
I did the following in conjunction with the gymnast's birthday:
She is my favourite gymnast, Viktoria Mazur of Ukraine! Loved her BD's so much that I even make a montage of her ring pivot:
Shortly after Mazur's birthday, it's her fellow younger teammate's birthday. What's more, her name is also Viktoria!
Well, that will be *my face* if I want to subtly remind someone of something.
On top of individual photographs, I managed to scour a few continuous photographs that spark an idea: what if I made a video montage of memes?
Post-mortem, I think the timing and layout should be adjusted and improved. But hey, this is my first try in video editing (using a brand new software), so I think this short video is pretty good for a first-timer.
Everyone's most relatable meme is probably the one below:
Who would say no to food? Not even gymnasts who are supposed to watch what they eat!
Of all the memes posted on Instagram, this one gets the most likes and reaches:
Her expression is spot on, hands down. I guess everyone is either very into the drunk jokes or *everyone is just too drunk and subconsciously give me the likes :P *
What do you think? Let me know your thoughts! I genuinely enjoy creating memes, therefore I think I may launch a second #rhythmiclols series after I gather enough materials.
Do follow me on Instagram and keep your eyes peeled on the next post!
