It's a Good Weekend!

Updated: Jul 10, 2019

It's a good weekend! Well, a good weekend doesn't necessary mean I've travelled somewhere or partied till early morning.

Or doing nothing. Plot twist: sometimes it does fit my definition of a "good weekend".

Anyway. I woke up and have my favourite #brekky: eggs and ham. Topped with hot #Milo or any chocolate-y drink.

Ideal brekky: eggs, hams, chocolate!

Next, I hang out with my new friend at the mall. We enjoyed gelato together while chatting about our week, some life experiences and personal sharing. The moment our talks commenced, we preached continued for two hours straight (ops).

I then returned home, feeling genuinely good after the "brief" socialising. Motivated to do something relaxing (but not napping), I decided to work on my blogpost. While waiting for the laptop to boot, I felt glimpses of warm rays touching my skin, prompting me to look out of my window.

And it gripped me almost instantaneously. Such a beautiful weather—what a waste not to be outdoors! My house has a #verandah, the Queenslander's trademark. The next minute, I found myself de-dusting my outdoor table set and began working.

The weather is soothing. And I finally finished my blogpost—voila! By the time I finished polishing the blogpost, the sun had retreated behind the distant hills and chilly winds brushed my skin gently. It's my turn to retreat, but with a great appreciation of the outdoor moment.

To end the day well, I decided to try a hot water bath. Believe me or not, this is my first time soaking in a bath. Side note: I struggled to maintain the favourable temperature at first, because it's either too hot or too cold. Never in between hrmmm

I didn't fill up the entire bathtub because I feel like it’s a waste of water haha. Mostly because it takes considerably long.

Not forgetting, I played my favourite #music piece almost the entire day—and I am still not over it!

Indeed, the tranquil music helped soothing my mind, bringing my relaxation further in both physical and mental state. The music is "The Road Home" by Dan Gibson's Solitudes. P/S Will be blogging favourite music very soon!

This is how I spend my good weekend. See you in the next short blogpost!
